I have been a vegetarian since I was very young, maybe seven-years-old. I would like to use this blogging opportunity in order to encourage everyone out there to become a vegetarian, as well.
Vegetarianism is known as the practice of following plant-based diets (fruit and vegetables), with or without the inclusion of dairy products or eggs, and with the absolute exclusion of meat (red meat, poultry and seafood).
Vegetarianism can be adopted for different reasons. I, for instance, believe in animal rights, and therefore have objected, since a young age, to eating meat out of respect for their lives. There are other good and important motivations for becoming a vegetarian, though, such as health, since it could be very unhealthy to eat red meat, especially for those with a high cholesterol, and such as economic, as meats and seafood are much more expensive than fruit and vegetables are, whether bought at supermarkets or eaten at restaurants.
Being a vegetarian could change your life. Many of my friends whom I successfully persuaded to become vegetarians have told me that ever since they made that major change, their moods have drastically improved. They have also been physically feeling a lot better and more awake. Try to make that change today, even just for a month, and see how it influences your lifestyle!
